MYBA Recreation League
Umpires Needed!!
MYBA is looking to hire umpires for our in-house leagues for the 2024 season. Applicants should be 12 yrs +, no experience is required. A great job for young, baseball players or those who just love the game of baseball. Games in this league are typically scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Pay is at least $20 per game. Umpires will need to be available for training in mid to late April. Please apply via a link.
The Morton Youth Baseball Association's objective is to provide a supervised baseball program that will be enjoyable, educational, and challenging for all the youth.
The 2023 season afforded us the opportunity to develop almost 600 players throughout the season’s 450+ baseball games and countless practices.
Teams in each league will compete in 10-15 games against other Morton teams (in-house games). All in-house games will be played at Westwood Park. The season will run from April through June.

Please register as soon as possible to be included in evaluations scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd. See website news article for information. $25 Late Fees will begin March 16th for Pinto through Bronco Leagues.
Pinto League or “T-Ball” (Cost: $85) Player's eligible for this league will be in Pre K or Kindergarten at the time of registration and be 4 years old on or before April 30th.
Maverick League (Cost: $130) Player's eligible for this league will be in 1st or 2nd grade at the time of registration. Kindergarteners will be allowed to play in Maverick if they have played at least 1 year of Pinto.
Mustang League (Cost: $130) Player's eligible for this league will be in 3rd or 4th grade at the time of registration.
Bronco League (Cost: $130) Player's eligible for this league will be in 5th or 6th grade at the time of registration.
Pony League (Cost: $130) Player's eligible for this league will be in 7th or 8th grade at the time of registration.
Colt League (Cost: $150) Player's eligible for this league will be in high school at the time of registration. Colt registration will stay open longer this season as this season does not begin until AFTER IHSA baseball season is over.

***Travel Lite players do not need to register for In-house baseball***

Morton Youth Baseball Association offers opportunities for anyone who loves baseball!
Our Recreation League provides a fun and instructional environment for kids of all ages (Pre-K through High School) and for adults to share their passion for baseball by coaching and volunteering. The goal of our Recreation League is to create a fun, positive, inclusive, and engaging program where kids can develop their skills as ballplayers and create great and lasting relationships.
Teams will play 10-15 games and we will hold division All-Star games and division tournaments. We will also feature Kona Ice and Chick-fil-A nights, making for a fun season.
